Follow MQSA and ACR guidelines for breast imaging.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>This PRN Mammography Technologist position is intended to provide coverage during employee vacations and periods of increased patient volume, ensuring continuous and efficient departmental operations.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Eligible for 16% PRN Differential<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>Lo que har\u00e1s:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate knowledge of breast anatomy, pathological conditions, and safe administration of radiation.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and review patient\u2019s requisition for consistency of examination ordered with clinical diagnosis and confirm patient and physician demographic information.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of all Mammography and stereotactic equipment, examinations, and protocols, as well as procedures that require the use of contrast agents and sterile techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct and document quality control ensuring equipment is within safe limits per MQSA and ACR guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>To guide patients and loved ones to the next step of their breast health, coordinate continuity of care by clearly communicating and educating patients prior to, during, and after breast imaging procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Review and perform breast imaging examinations for technical accuracy, present completed examinations to the radiologist, and communicate pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with the management of the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments and proper patient care.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, medical supply inventory and inform Supervisor of any needs<\/li>\n<li>Acts as a team player to assist in the overall success of the department.<\/li>\n<li>Modela los principios de una Cultura Justa y los Valores Organizacionales.<\/li>\n<li>Realizar otras tareas que le sean asignadas.<\/li>\n<li>Debe cumplir con la normativa HIPAA.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div><strong>Esta descripci\u00f3n no pretende ni debe interpretarse como una lista exhaustiva de todas las responsabilidades, habilidades, esfuerzos o condiciones de trabajo asociadas con el puesto.
